Temporary artwork for the Light Festival.
Between 22 November and 6 December the artwork Conos will be on display in Voldersstraat.
Spanish artist SpY will decorate the 8 pillars of the University Auditorium at Voldersstraat 9 in Ghent with luminous cones.
The work entitled Conos - the Spanish word for cones - serves as a foretaste of the Light Festival and will be exhibited between 22 November and 6 December. The artwork can be visited non-stop free of charge. At night it will be lit, enveloping the pillars in a warm orange glow.
The full programme of the Light Festival will be available on the website as from 21 November.
The Light Festival itself will take place from Wednesday 31 January to Sunday 4 February 2024.
