A poetic interplay of light and sound on the walls of Museum of Industry.
The Berlin-based light artists mader | wiermann have created a trompe-l'oeil video projection on the facade of the Museum of Industry. This poetic interplay of light and sound creates the illusion of movement within the building: the walls and ceilings appear to shift up and down and from left to right. They make the virtual spaces larger or smaller and random spheres then fill the voids, only to be seized by pliers and then disappear. The building seems to be undergoing a constant metamorphosis, almost as if the machinery controlling it has been exposed.
