Pixel Forest

Bram Lemaire transforms upside-down water containers into a landscape of illuminated trees, like a pixelated wood in the heart of the city which you can walk past, beneath and through! The fact that the artist uses storage vessels from the agricultural and horticultural industry is no coincidence: Bram’s colourful containers address the issue of our digital alienation. As city dwellers in our high-tech, driven society, we are sometimes far removed from nature and the source of the essential foods we consume every day.
