This autumn, the pupils at the Centre for Learning and Working (CLW Gent) and the Secondary Art Institute (SKI) have joined forces to work on the Shadowlife project. Life has many shadows, which the pupils are investigating and bringing to light. In a series of workshops facilitated by S.M.A.K. guides, they will be creating a monumental lighting installation in the Floralies Hall behind the museum. Old techniques such as shadow play are combined with digital photography and projection.
Shadowlife is a partnership between the SKI, CLW and S.M.A.K. (31.01 - 04.02.2018).
The project is supported by ENGIE.
